Instructions for Biacore submissions

PLEASE NOTE: Due to continuing concerns posed by potential bioterrorism agents (select agents), our online submission form requires that you provide us with information on the original biological source of any DNA from which you will be asking us to obtain sequence. "Original biological source" refers to the organism from which the DNA was first found in nature (human, HIV, Staphylococcus aureus, etc.). If you simply put a nonspecific term such as "E. coli clone", this will not be sufficient. We realize that adding yet another field to fill out on these forms can be tiresome, but this information is necessary to protect our staff against potential legal difficulties. Thank you very much for your understanding.

           

 

1. Please download and complete both the Billing and Sample sections of the submission form. Then save, and send us a copy via email to: biacore_support@ouhsc.edu.


2. If you have multiple ligands and/or analytes (up to 10), please copy and paste each of the fields on the submission form until you have enough. For larger projects please contact us directly to further assist you at: biacore_support@ouhsc.edu.


3. Please bring samples to the Laboratory for Genomics and Bioinformatics in the BRC building Room 1106 in between the hours of 9 to 5pm, Monday through Friday. There is a 4ºC and -20°C freezer in the office. If special storage conditions are required please contact someone in the lab prior to dropping off samples.
